If you’re reading this, there’s something you should know about me. I am never satisfied. Don’t get me wrong, that’s not a euphemism for “I hate my life”, instead I constantly seek for opportunities and inspiration to feed an innate need to grow, experience and give back. So imagine my reaction when my professor approached me with a live rebranding project offer- I took a total of three nanoseconds to accept.

Established in Singapore, Linen and More houses a wide range of linen apparel for women, home decor pieces and exquisite hand-made jewellery sourced from various parts of India and South-East Asia. What started off as a home business to keep housewife Manisha on her toes, has expanded into a cozy and tasteful boutique on River Valley Road. Sounds great, right? But as most brick-and-mortar businesses, it needs a fresh perspective and a revamped marketing plan to ward away the threat of having to shut shop and move online. I have been given the task of creating a look book with the merchandise, improving the in-store visual merchandising, and managing the brand’s social media pages. I hope my efforts to translate the theory I’ve learned in class into real-time practice proves beneficial to the brand, and I can’t wait to revel the results in an upcoming post.

Stay tuned. Stay inspired.
