After two gap years, college shutting down in the middle of my course and being transferred to Singapore, I have finally reached the end of my undergraduate degree. Most people I come across don’t even know that the course ‘Fashion Marketing’ exists. Three years ago, I was one of these people who took a leap of faith which I can safely say now, was a good move. The diverse course structure has covered so many different aspects of the fashion industry, leaving me with multiple interests and a fair knowledge of the various roles in the fashion field. The journey has been an emotional rollercoaster no doubt, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have had incredible mentors and peers who have all moulded my experience and taught me so much in ways they may not be aware of. From disastrous group projects to executing the best fashion show in the history of Raffles, every module has been a milestone in this three year course. I am filled with bittersweet emotions to be parting with this chapter of my life but feel oddly prepared to go out into the big bag world and leave my mark on it.
